When Everything Is Shaken

This Sunday we begin a new series through the book of Job, one of the Bible’s most honest books about suffering, faith, and the mystery of God’s ways.

What do we do when life no longer makes sense? What happens when someone who genuinely loves God suffers deeply, and there seems to be no explanation? Job 1 introduces us to a faithful man whose world is suddenly shaken, and it also reveals that more is happening than Job himself can see.

We will discover that faithfulness does not make us immune to suffering, that our inability to see God’s purposes does not mean He has none, and that grief and worship can exist together.

When we do not understand, we can still trust that God is good and worship Him for who He is.
