Like the Israelites leaders we must be very careful to love God,

which requires diligence and watchfulness.

• Remember and Obey (vv.1-8)

• Love and Forsake (vv.9-13)

• Moral and Spiritual Dangers (vv.14-16)

So What?

1. God has set up an axiom – Remembering Him leads to obedience.
   • Diligent, careful, painstaking, tireless, constant

1. Why trying harder DOESN’T work…
   • Trying harder puts ME in charge
   • DEEP Surrender is the key
