Introduction:

Joshua 1:8 –  Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

• Last week’s sermon was the application/explanation of our key verse for the Joshua series!!!!!

Key Idea:

We must remember what God has done,

so that we might always fear the Lord our God!

1.The LORD’s first command (vv.1-14)

2.The LORD’s second command (vv.4:15-5:1)

So What? (or..Why?)

1. Because we leak!  (we forget too easily)
2. I need to remember God’s work, both in the Bible and in MY life.
3. We are also to remember in community!
4. We forget at our own peril!
5. We owe it to the next generation to remember and tell our stories!
