Jesus was born savior, messiah, and king. Each of these names is packed with meaning, and each one requires a response from us. The magi came looking for the one who was born “king of the Jews.” The focus of the message is on “Jesus as King” and what this means and choose how to respond.
Our passage for this week from Matthew chapter one gives us the details of God’s interaction with Joseph, and from this passage, we will focus on what we can understand about God and why this matters to us.
