Do you feel a pull to nurture people in their relationship with God?   You might have the gift of shepherding.  Maybe you haven’t felt comfortable or certain what do with that pull.    As the capstone for Pastor Solomon Powell’s M.Div program, he is  seeking to find, equip, and empower lay shepherds in our church family.   Never at any time during his time at this church has he thought the time was more ripe.

There are dozens of people in our church family who have no one serving as their primary care person.   Solomon believes God has a way to meet this need, and the time is now. Time to raise the call – and find the “closet shepherds” in our church family.  Solomon wants to help you discern if shepherding might be one of your spiritual gifts.  If it is, he wants to equip, encourage, and support you to begin using it in a way that fits your availability and your heart.    Do you feel the pull?

Classes will meet once each week for four weeks.  You can choose to attend on Saturdays, 7:30 to 10:30 am or Mondays, 6 to 9 pm.
